Ingredients

1 cup of dried prunes
1/2 cup of walnuts
2 tablespoons of honey
1 teaspoon of baking soda
2,5 oz of neutral oil
3/4 cup of boiling water
2 eggs
2 cups of self-rising flour
1 cup of sugar

Directions

Place in a bowl the prunes cut in small pieces, the nuts, the honey, the bicarbonate, the oil and the boiling water, and let rest 20 minutes
Beat on the side the two eggs with the sugar and the self-raisign flour, and add the mix
Flour and butter a cake pan of about 10×12 inches
Bring to a moderate oven for 45 minutes (insert a toothpick into the center before removing, to check if it’s done)
