Challah agulah (braided bread round)

The traditional festive bread, in its Rosh Hashanah version

Ingredientes

1,1 pound of flour (0000)
2 eggs
1 oz of fresh yeast
2,5 oz of oil
1 glass of warm or natural water
1 teaspoon of salt
1/2 glass of water
1 tablespoon of honey

Directions

Put the flour in a bowl, hollow out, add the yeast in small pieces, together with the sugar and a little water
Add the egg, oil, salt, and incorporate while pouring the rest of the water
Knead and let stand the dough in a warm place (NOT hot) covered with film, until it doubles its volume (about 45 minutes)
Re-knead and separate into three buns
Make a cord and braid each bun, then brush with egg and honey
Put on a baking sheet, barely oiled
Let stand 40 minutes
Bring to medium oven for 30 minutes
